Welcome to the
presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at INTERLIGHT 2011.
The trade show INTERLIGHT is an established and fixed business event for German
exhibitors.
Due to uprising energy costs and huge saving potentials with energy efficient
lighting solutions the German lighting industry is focusing on innovative
products. Safety, efficiency and quality are key words for the German industry.
Worldwide, customers of products made in Germany count on technical excellence,
reliability and economic efficiency. As a result, German products are also
highly demanded in Russia.
The German exhibitors will show their latest innovations in lighting technology
which is together with their intelligent lighting control technology the key to
energy savings up to 80%. Especially new developments with regard to
LED-technology will be of special interest as the applicability is extended
continuously. German manufacturers are well known for their lighting
engineering. So that's also the reason for high lighting quality in the LED
sector.
While energy efficiency has become a must in new installations, the biggest
saving potential lies in the refurbishment of lighting in existing buildings and
street lighting. Because of short payback periods, the implementation of modern
lighting solutions is resulting in substantial budget savings for communities,
industry and private consumers.
The German exhibitors are looking forward to instructive discussions with
Russian business partners. We expect that the commercial relations between the
two countries will develop in a prosperous way in the future.
The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association
of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) as well as the German Electrical and
Electronic Manufacturer's Association (ZVEI - Product Division Lighting), wish
all participants a successful trade fair and a good time in Moscow.
